How to Apply
To apply, please submit the following as one PDF document to fellowships@motherjones.com. The file's title must include your last name.
- Application form (download as a PDF)
- Cover letter and résumé, including the names and numbers of two references
- Two writing samples (links to online versions preferred)
Fellowships usually begin on June 1 and December 1. Applications are due no later than two months prior to the start date (April 1 and October 1). We aim to contact applicants with our decisions one month prior to the fellowship start date. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
