Prior to joining Mother Jones, Zaineb worked for New America Media, Once Magazine, and San Francisco magazine. Her work has appeared on SF Public Press, the California Progress Report, and Truthout. Originally from the Midwest, she loves corn fields, the Great Lakes, and vacationing in northern Wisconsin.
