This is heartbreaking to read, physically nauseating..

With respect to "We are waiting to hear from the authorities what we should do with them", having been in wildlife rehabilitation once upon a very long time ago, yeah, the laws become messed up with what happens in a case like this.. By law, they may legally have to destroy that which could possibly be saved sometimes.. That's why they're "waiting to hear" about "what [to] do with them"..

Coming to mind as soon as I hit "Post": The explanation for a call to destroy can feasibly be something akin to, "We don't know where [the seized animals] came from, and we cannot afford to upset the very delicate ecological balance of that site or those sites we might possibly consider for release."

One might possibly be able to understand to a point, but still.. :(

So disturbing is the lack of value so many humans place on any other form of life. This is in my opinion a very big mistake being made by the offending members of the "so called" superior race that we all will most likely pay a heavy price for in due time.
For years, my mother has watched such atrocities unfold, and each time said "You watch, some day the animals are going to get even with us for how we have treated them."
I beleive they were here on this planet before we got here weren't they?
