OK, this is a little old, but since I've been chuckling about it for a week now, I figured it was worth a post. In one of those special nailing-it moments, The Onion offered this headline:

I love theonion! I've been reading it since 1996. The scary thing is that if this happens, it wouldn't be the first time theonion successfully anticipated the news. Check this out from January, 2001.

BEIJING (Reuters) - About 460,000 Chinese die prematurely each year from breathing polluted air and drinking dirty water, according to a World Bank study. Bush should put pressure on China to clean up their act. Boycott Chinese imports until they stop killing their people.
