Big Squid In California Waters
The Los Angeles Times and others are reporting on the "voracious" jumbo squid "invading" California waters and "preying" on local anchovy, hake and other commercial fish populations. . . .Hmm. No. Nothing is more voracious than humans. Boy that second video is depressing. I knew about this of course, but seeing it in action is pretty shocking.
As for the first video, very cool!! I wonder if these beautiful and enormous hunks of Purina sperm whale chow will attract any sperm whales to the coast?
