Commemorating Bush's Sh*t

263388397_6feb4ae850.jpg My favorite news of the day. And one reason my heart will always be in San Francisco.

A measure has qualified for San Francisco's November ballot renaming the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.

In recognitionof the crap Bush left behind in Iraq. And everywhere.

A quagmire named for the Begetter-of-all-Quagmires.

I think we all ♥ San Francisco for this fitting gesture.

How appropriate is this idea. How bad has he been as our President?

San Francisco should build something for Nancy Pelosi; along the same line. It is not surprising that George W. Bush has disgraced the presidency and thus very deserving for a sewage plant to be named after him. We all know who is George W. Bush.

It is disheartening that San Francisco elected someone like Nancy Pelosi to put a stamp of approval on Bush’s disgrace of our nation. Taking Impeachment off the table, blocking the punishment of Car Rove for defying Congress and continuing funding of the illegal war in Iraq are equally disgraceful deeds to our nation.

The voters of San Francisco should remember, next November, the less than honorable deeds of Nancy Pelosi; then maybe to think of similar project in the city to be named after her after losing her reelection bid.

SanFran can kiss any federal subsidies goodbye - but the price may well be worth it. This is more fitting than any library - after all, this is a President who can't effing read anything except My Little Goat while the WTC burned (literally)

As bad as Pres. Bush has been [and I believe he will be remembered in history as one of the worst ever]; nothing is gained by insulting, demeaning acts such as naming a sewage facility in his "honor" Our time is better spent persuading others why our position on an issue is correct and encouraging others to join.

Not cool. Funny on one level, sure. But I've got to sympathize with my fellow civil engineers. No one deserves to work at the George W. Bush anything, especially public servants at an award-winning facility that keeps your waterways clean. Also, why give conservatives one more excuse to feel aggrieved?

"Emperor George W. Bush and his Dick as in shoot your best friend in the face Cheney have caused the 'Daily' Suffering and Deaths of American Poor, Disabled, L.G.B.T. Community, Senior Citizens, Children, Veterans and the Unemployed by Economic Deprivation. It leaves no finger prints at the crime scene." You may quote me anytime.

So with this stated, there could not be a more fitting memorial for Emperor Bush than to have the Sewage Plant renamed the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.

What higher honor could be given to George W. Bush and his side kick Dick have been, by dumping on the American Public 24/7 for the past 8 years. Anything less would not be fitting.

We can never forget the damage he has done to America for generations to come. I think we should follow San Francisco's example and have every Sewage Plant in America named after George W. Bush. I know there will be towns and cities who will be against this because they will want to name their sewage plants, 'The George W. Bush and Dick Cheney Sewage Plant'.

Let it be stated now, that no one has to be concerned about any Federal money being denied by having any and all sewage plants in America named after Bush and Cheney. In fact it will be the best spent money compared to the $500,000 dollars they are spending now every 30 seconds on an Unjust War in the Mid East! The renamings of every sewage plant in America will provide thousands of jobs in the sign business across America. It will bring tourist dollars to every town and city to have a photo op and public awareness everytime one flushes, knowing it is going to a good cause.

How more patriotic can we be as Americans than to be able to flush everytime and remember, it's our turn to dump on Emperor Bush and his Dick for generations to come.

Congratulations to San Francisco for being the 1st Sewage Plant in America to honor George W. Bush and Dick Cheney! Let the renaming begin all over America now.

Can't we just erect an outhouse at far less expense and do the same thing?

NOT COOL PEOPLE!! Does anyone here supporting this understand what a Wastewater Treatment Plant does to service the community? Sewage treatment plants are a vital part of protecting public health and the environment. They are infrastructure that without we would all be at risk of disease and series consequences to marine life. If you really want to name an appropriate monument to someone who has destroyed years of environmental policy work, lets name a garbage dump after him. Leave the public service employees out of it. Its hard enough to get the public to appreciate and respect the important job they do to protect our community and environment everyday.

Maybe instead of naming the plant after him the people of SanFrancisco should name the effluent after him. Going into the plant, that is.

I agree: Sewage plants, when run correctly, are the pillars of public health in an urban society. Only honorable people should have their names on such facilities. But I do believe that standalone porta-potties everywhere could be named after Dubya, Dickie and the other major felons who have been at the top of the current administration. The naming of such porta-potties would be opportunities for communities or even small groups of people to remind themselves what has been done in the name of crass personal and class benefit during the Dubya years by Dubya buddies. On each portapottie, put up an interesting number (no-bid contract values 'won' by Halliburton, etc or a key lie with a brief explanation of the context. Let everybody in on the fun and educational value. The porta-potty companies may love it as well: Naming rights and rental space for posters could be charged by the month!

Debate the pros and cons of naming waste removal facilities because it's entertaining to do so, but the future should also contain an invitation for Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheney, and Mr. Rove, as well as a few other "masterminds" of the current and past cabinets to a hearing at the Hague. These men are guilty of war crimes and should be tried on a world scale.

Wdm, I used to say that during the Clinton's scadal & here I'm say it again with you and we didn't done yet,I do believe the worst still to com because the war drums very loud & clear and it'll happen soon !

Waste water plants clean up the environment. To honor Bush by naming this plant after him is crazy. But then again, the people of San Francisco are noted for the arrested development, according to Freud, he saw adult homosexuality as a developmental arrest of childhood instincts which prevent the development of a more mature heterosexuality. Freud's theory of immaturity--an alternative category that was neither religion's sin (theory of morality) nor medicine's disease (theory of pathology). Freud offered a more inclusive paradigm. It allowed for the possibility that the adult homosexual person might sufficiently mature and, if sufficiently motivated, become heterosexual.

Brilliant! A totally Brilliant idea! Unlike fartfaces who disparage the people of SF (O'Reilly made that a heavy practice), I applaud their efforts for a Historic and Continuing public reminder of Bushit, ChenyJaculate, and Turdblossom's attempts to destroy our Republic. In respect to the operators, a pictorial could be set up in the lobby showing how well the plant processes extreme excremental input and produces usable output.

This would be an insult to the sewerage plant, which is actually a well functioning facility.

Julia - this is such old news, get fresh!!!
