Halliburton is awarded a $7 billion reconstruction contract over the objections of Army Corps of Engineers procurement officer Bunnatine Greenhouse. Testifying before Congress, she later calls the contract "the most blatant and improper contract abuse I have witnessed." She is demoted in short order.

What concerns me most about this entire fiasco is, how long was it in the planning? What are the ultimate goals?
How much of our nations true commitments, values and young men and women were they willing to sacrifice in order to further their agenda? Where do they come from? Remember, the communist government of Russia was overthrown in one week. As we proceed into this unsettling atmosphere of political unrest and economic instablility, what would it take to create an invironmnet of revolutionary proportions? It truly concerns and scares the hell out of me.
