Last january, illustrator and news junkie Steve Brodner started posting a drawing of the "person of the day" on the artists' blog drawger.com. Since then, he's been cranking out one after another brilliantly biting caricature of the good, the bad, and the downright appalling, all freshly ripped from the headlines. Brodner's dispatches are also featured daily on the front page of motherjones.com. The following selection recaps some of the past year's most memorable moments, as seen through Brodner's eyes.
