Mora, along with Fanny Barrera-De Amaris, Uwe Jensen, Edgar Fernando Blanco Puerta, Carlos Romero-Panchano, Elkin Alberto Arroyave Ruiz, and Carlos Varela, was arrested as part of Operation White Terror, a drugs and weapons sting. Mora attempted to distribute cocaine in exchange for weapons for the United Self Defense Groups of Colombia (AUC), a right-wing paramilitary group. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
