Moheisen, along with Edizon Gamboa, Bernardo Londono, Julio Lopez, Luis Morales, Carmen Ponton Caro, Jalal Romero, and Victor Salamanca, was caught as part of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement sting. Moheisan, a Palestinian national, helped three informants posing as FARC operatives travel to the United States. He was sentenced to nearly six years in prison and deportation.
