Ulloa Melo, a Colombian, helped an informant posing as a member of FARC, the left-wing Colombian guerilla group, travel to the United States. He introduced FBI informants to an airport-security contact, arranged for fraudulent entry stamps, and agreed to run the names on their passports through official databases to see if Interpol had flagged them. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
