Al-Moayad, a Yemeni cleric who once called himself Osama bin Laden's spiritual advisor, was arrested as part of a sting operation. An informant, Mohamed Alanssi, testified that Moayad had bragged about providing money, weapons, and recruits to Bin Laden. Abad Elfgeeh was his contact for wiring money overseas. Moayad was deported to Yemen.
