Yousry was a translator during the trial of Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, who is now serving a life sentence in connection with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. He was prosecuted for translating a letter from Abdel-Rahman that Lynne Stewart provided to a reporter. He was sentenced to 20 months in prison.
