Al-Kassar was one of the world's most prolific arms dealers. He was caught in a sting by two DEA agents posing as FARC rebels seeking surface-to-air missiles and other weapons to kill Americans. He attempted to supply thousands of weapons for a profit of more than $1 million. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
