Salah was accused of using his US citizenship to help send of hundreds of thousands of dollars to militants in the West Bank and Gaza. He is connected to Mousa Mohammed Abu Marzook, a deputy chief of Hamas. Mohamed Shorbagi testified at his trial. He was sentenced to 21 months in prison.
