| Description: | Lewis, along with Jeffrey Battle, Ahmed Ibrahim Bilal, Muhammad Ibrahim Bilal, Patrice Lumumba Ford, and Maher Mofeid Hawash, was one of the Portland Seven, a homegrown cell. The FBI put them under investigation after a sheriff's deputy found several of them holding target practice. The group flew to China in an unsuccessful attempt to enter Afghanistan and join Al Qaeda. Lewis is the ex-wife of ringleader Jeffrey Leon Battle. She cooperated with authorities and received a penalty of three years in prison. |
