Thank you for the insight, Mr. Cheung. Thank you to all of the soldiers who have volunteered for this extremely thankless, but very important, job.
Is it anything like the GOP's health care & retirement plan? "die faster"
I think paleo-tainment TV shows are great. Not everyone is going to join the Society for Primitive Technology, become a hunter, or even a Boy Scout/Explorer. Any attempt to walk down a simpler path, even after being inspired by a TV show is a good thing in my book. Haters can eat beetle larva, so HA ;-P
As sad as it is these men making these reproductive rights decisions don't really care about the moral aspect of the argument. It's really all about control. If they really cared about this issue they would be teaching our children sex education, and providing affordable contraceptives in the school system.
...still horrified by this story - this is a pretty comprehensive article.
Wow. This is pretty objective commentary from a Liberal (like me) source about a prominent Republican. I'm impressed. Mother Jones should run the country!
That video was like nothing I've heard before. As for climate change, it's here now and we as a society can work towards mitigating the effects through conscious choices and actions if we are aware.
Startling. @motherjones photo gallery of California's overcrowded #prisons: http://bit.ly/iHvR64
I wonder how this relates to the lack of trade unions in the hotel industry. Any decent union would insist that the hotel management protect its members.
Great article! I just used it to call out two Congressmen and the Illinois Farm Bureau for spreading conspiracy theories.
I always look forward to receiving your mag! Great articles, they make me either think or laugh!

What's interesting is that this tradition is a continuation, not a novelty. In the first, "Oh, no, a Democrat! The end is near" administration of Jimmy Carter, we had the Survivalist craze (Donald Petri's prescient film "The Survivors" is still worth a viewing). That craze turned into the militria movement during the years in between, but there has always been a segment that thought that getting manly and eating bugs was an American virtue for the virtuous.
