I used to respect John McCain, would have even considered voting for him before the fiasco of the 2008 campaign when he changed his position on many important issues to fit within hardline GOP ideology. Now I'm just speechless that he's turned his back on his own legacy of fighting for campaign finance reform. Very sad.
Actually, I wouldn't be suprised to find out that Romney is an anti-Romney conspiracy.
This Mother Jones guide to Romney's Bain involvement is the way to go. No fluff, just the facts—and they're scary.
There's nothing like hard times to make us remember the old dictum: Use it up, wear it out, make it do. Saves money and it may just save the planet in the end.
Marriage takes a lot of work under the most stable circumstances. Add in the stressor of reduced income and ALL of the daily irritants become HUGE and seemingly insurmountable, which means divorce. Mother Jones publication is the best.
Took me right to my cupboard and fridge.
As long as he didn't sing who let the dogs out.
After reading the headline, I was ready to scream in opposition, but after reading the rest of the article I actually agree. Not sure how feasible these ideas would really be, but I am inclined to believe they would make our society better.
I complained to my doctor about my frequent respiratory infections. She asked if I swam in the Chesapeake Bay or if I ate seafood out of the Chesapeake Bay (I grew up and live in the area). She said that'll do it. I do neither, but when young I did quite a bit of it. Even 50 years ago my mom said the Bay was a sewer and wanted her hardheaded son to stay out of it. Only now do I appreciate that wisdom. To most of the world the waters are perceived as dumping grounds. Medical waste disposal is highly regulated while its in the hands of medical providers. Once disposed of don't be surprised to see it wash up on the Atlantic shores.
Before reading about billionaire on millionaire violence in the Hamptons, remember 1 Billioniare = 1,000 millionaires.
Oh boy, sociopaths in space! Just what the galaxy needs. I doubt it if the Randian folks will ever make it out in space—humans need to cooperate out there to survive, and these types seem incapable of doing so with others for very long.

Yes, this exactly. Mitt's not afraid that anything illegal will be exposed, he's afraid of exposing what IS legal and has been going on for too long.
