I'm so sick of folks saying Blacks are torpedoeing marriage equality. The majority of Black folks I know, including myself are for equality for all. We are less than 12% of the population and sadly we don't vote in record numbers. We aren't torpedoeing anything! Stop blaming Black folks for this!

MCAS EL Toro in Irvine, California is another base that was full of contamination. It has not gotten the press that Camp Lejuene has because it closed in 1999 and was not as large. Unfortunately for myself and my children my husband was stationed at both bases so we went from one contaminated site to another during his enlistment. As of now there is no recourse for families that have been affected by this contamination. Our government is taking little to no responsibility in all this. It is quite frustrating for those of us affected by it.
