I bought a Palestinian
I bought a Palestinian keffiyeh last winter. I wear it to Trader Joes, where I have seen young women wear IDF fatigue caps.
Group blog?
So the keffiyeh story seemed interesting, so I clicked on it and what did I find? Somebody basically just making stuff up. No research, no links to more info, absolutely nothing to back up the theory of "here's how it happened" other than "this seems right to me, I'll post it".
Which is fine for a blog post, I don't have anything at all against people musing like this, but it's really bizarre to find Kevin linking to stuff this stupid and shallow. So I look back, and find that it's not Kevin at all.
One of the values of a socio-political blog is that it acts as an agent and filter for news stories. It's really annoying to have to check the author on every post to figure out whether the links are going to fit the usual quality of the blog or not.

yeah, generally you won't find posts from other bloggers chez Kevin, but he's kind enough to give me a daily space for Best in Blog. Just skim past BoB if you don't want to read 'em. I think you're a bit off on the keffiyeh post, but then you ARE anonymous, right?
