Americans want change, but can progressives make the sale?
At the opening of today's Take Back America conference, hosted by the Campaign for America's Future, progressive leaders, pollsters, Robert Redford and even a bland Senate Minority Leader, Harry Reid, all argued that the conservative era was over and Americans are ready for change. Campaign for America Future's co-director Robert Borsage and pollster Stan Greenberg released a new poll and strategy manual, a roadmap for progressives (okay, liberals) showing that on issues ranging from using international alliances to build our security to regulating business abuses, Americans favor the progressive solutions over the conservative ones."We were asked with this poll, to find out if the country has reached a tipping point. The answer is yes. The conservative world view is in the deepest trouble at its very core philosophical underpinnings."
But the press releases and web pages don't highlight Greenberg's skepticism about the failure so far of the Democrats to convince the public that they offer a better way. Even though the Republican agenda was now "rubble," progressives haven't won over the public or yet reached them effectively. That's the obstacle this conference can help overcome. The Democrat Party is the party of do nothing skylarkers with about as much chance of regaining control of Congress like the Miami Heat have at beating the Dallas Mavericks for the NBA Crown. The Democrats have no unifed message, they tolerate too many rightwing fanatics like Hillary Clinton in the party, and they do not possess the courage to take on the radical rightwing lunatics who currently control the Republican Party. The dems have no chance at winning over the bulk of white America because the Dems are associated with the poisonous PseudoLiberal ideology which has at its core certain tenets that most white Americans find repellent.
Perhaps the most important of the pseudoliberal tenets that alienate whites is the idea that whites are incorrigibly evil because of slavery and racism. Ordinary whites are being blamed for the race crimes committed by the overclass in centuries past. Therefore there is a core tenet of pseudoliberalism that holds that whites are the ultimate evil. Gee I cannot IMAGINE why so many whites have fled the democratic party for the GOP. Although the GOP is evil, and even more in the pocket of the overclass than the Dems, at least the GOP does not have as one of its core beliefs the idea that Joe Sixpack is profoundly evil!
The overclass created this pseudoleft by funding nonprofit organizations that crank out reams of PseudoLeft propaganda that is used to slowly make social issues, wedge issues and identity politics the focus of American Leftism.

The socialism is showing in the far left that is holding the democrat party hostage. My parents would not be happy with the party they loved if they were here today Democrats kick out the soicalist in your party and shy away from michael moore & george scrros's and all of america haters.
