If the Election's Tomorrow and Clinton's the Nominee...
...Then she wins big, says Chris Bowers, who compiled the state-by-state head-to-head polls to put together two electoral maps. Clinton wins the electoral vote 335-203 over Giuliani and 430-108 over Romney. And Bowers thinks this is the Democrats' "worst case scenario":
It is important to keep in mind that Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani are the two frontrunners for the Republican nomination right now, and that Hillary Clinton is supposedly the least electable Democrat of the four early state candidates in double digits. To put it another way, this is supposedly the worst-case scenario for Democrats right now. On top of this, what do you think will happen to either Giuliani or Romney's numbers when, for nine consecutive months next year (February 6th through Election Day), they are on every media possible, every day, arguing that we don't need to withdraw any troops from Iraq?
Good news for the Dems, if it's true. Part of it, at least, may not be: according to some polls, Clinton is not the "least electable Democrat." Of the top three Democratic candidates, only Clinton won all three head-to-head contests with Giuliani, McCain, and Thompson. But seriously: 430-108? If you're a Republican, that has to make the prospect of a Romney nomination look pretty bleak.

Blacks are going to stay home if Senator Clinton is the candidate. You know why.
Just more of the MSM's B.S. excuse for coverage, that completely ignores the candidates who aren't among "the anointed"..., the media's darlings, their "chosen few".
I'm getting sick & tired of stories about the candidates that have consistently LOST the debates, as judged by the response of the ORDINARY People who've watched them.
Hello~!?!
Dennis Kucinich or Ron Paul ring a bell with any of you media 'Talking Heads'?!?!
Why don't you guys do something INTERESTING for a change, and do a survey that asks a few thousand politically savvy people who they favor in a Dennis K. vs. Ron P. contest?
Stop trying to narrow down our choices FOR us, MONTHS before anyone casts a vote in the first primary!
I know..., I know.
Media pundits can't STAND the thought of someone from OUTSIDE the inner sanctum of the two wings of our single political party succeeding.
Why, they'd have No INFLUENCE with such a person!
Such possibilities must be QUASHED!
No... why?
Hillary just might be the best republican in the field. However, she lost my support for the democratic primary when I read the MoJo article "Hillary's Prayer". That is one scary article. Not just for what it means about Hillary, but for its commentary on the coming theocracy in this country. Yikes!!!
Leroy, I think many black people will know that once the choices are down to just two candidates, if Obama happens not to be the one, they will still see that any of the candidates in the democrap line-up will be far better than any of the candidates in the repugnican line-up.
Not voting is a vote for whichever candidate is worse. I think a lot of people of all colors and creeds know this. When people don't vote, I assume it's because they don't have a preference between two awful candidates.
So, give blacks some credit. Most will vote their self-interest. Voter turnout will likely be about the same as it always is, regardless of the candidates.
Again with the MSM tactic of only talking about the "elite" candidates from the two wings of our single ruling party...
Let's just pretend only Clinton, Obama, Giuliani, Romney and McCain are in the race for prez.
For heaven's sake, Don't discuss anyone who might amount to REAL change in DC, and who might actually take their oath of office seriously, like the Kucinichs, the Pauls and the Gravels in the race.
NEVER compare them in public, or ask Real Voters who they'd choose among THAT group of possibilities!
Since THEY don't happen to be sharing a bed with big media, they've Given Up their "privilege" of being reported. Best if the public is not even reminded of their existance.
And while we're at it, let's not even allow postings by those critical of the MSM-OnePoliticalParty-sustain-each-other game.
Open Criticism of the Media, why that's "Malicious Content" most vile!
"Fearless Journalism" my eye!
