Clinton Fundraising in Overdrive
The Clinton campaign is claiming that it has raised nearly $2.5 million since Pennsylvania was declared a Clinton victory earlier tonight. Eighty percent of the donations are from first-time donors. Those are some pretty astonishing numbers.
For all the talk of Obamamania, there is a real excitement behind the Clinton campaign, too. Where were these candidates in 2004?

I've got a feeling those numbers are a load of bull. I haven't seen it anywhere except on Taylor Marsh...
Don't be so sure, Bonnie.

What if all these 'new' contributor's who are really neoCons who want to spoil the chances that Obama will run against McCain? They've spent the past two years gearing up for Clinton as their opponent. They can't fight a real leader with McCain or any one else.
Sure, Team HRC is asserting this new influx of fundraising.
They don't have to PROVE IT until May 20 when the details of April fundraising have to see the light of day.
It seems so pointless to give to her given that she couldn't win before Pennsylvania and she's even less likely to now with her less than 20 point margin. Why put your hard earned cash behind someone who'll never win, at this point its like giving your last penny to Ron Paul.
