Obama to Finally Do Fox News... Why?
News is out that Barack Obama will finally end his boycott of Fox News and sit down with "Fox News Sunday" for a pre-taped interview on Saturday. "They realized they've got a problem after Pennsylvania," [Fox host Chris] Wallace told the Hollywood Reporter. "In the end, they do it for their own reasons, not ours. But they realized he needs to be able to reach out to working-class, blue-collar Democrats, moderate to conservative, and that's our target audience."
Fox News has been slamming Obama non-stop, to such a degree that members of the Fox team have objected on-air and Brave New Films has released a much-watched film on YouTube documenting the phenomenon:
Obama's boycott of Fox was a good thing for the progressive movement. If he had taken the White House without appearing on the network, it would have proven that Democrats could win without dipping into Fox's toxic waters, and it would have raised awareness of Fox's nasty habits. Obama's campaign is saying he's going on to "take Fox on."
The one thing we know for sure: Fox will spend the entire time focusing on the "manufactured issues" of the campaign — flag pins, "bitter"-gate, Weathermen, etc. Obama's going to get punched. If he punches back, he comes off as confrontational in front of Fox's blue-collar, moderate and conservatives viewers (who probably aren't inclined to vote for him anyway, right?). If he doesn't punch back, he disappoints progressives and the blogosphere, who see a blown opportunity to ostracize a pernicious network.
So tell me. What's the upside, here?

So... why exactly would "punching back" be a bad thing then? It might not earn him any votes (that he wasn't going to get anyway) but any time Fox is made to seem less credible in the public sphere, a small victory has been won I'd say.

I understand it's because he's running for pres, but at some point you just have to look Hillary and the media in the eye and ask " who the F cares about this stuff? I'm running for president to make a change! Why does it matter what someone else said or who I worked with. Our government, pres and vice pres are totally corrupt and I'm not so get over it!!"

Lets review the simple fact of the Freedmen style Reganomic economy we've been putting into place since before I was born: we have given away billions in tax cuts to the wealthiest people in the country, implemented free trade measures, and deregulated markets only to have stagnant or shrinking income for the majority of Americans and record federal deficits, millions of lost jobs, and of course repeated economic woes caused first by unmonitored companies like Enron cooking the books and then by banks playing fiscal games and accruing power in ways that were once illegal because they cause problems like the housing crisis. I sincerely hope you've enjoyed being pissed on by trickle down economics Bill but last I heard most people in the country were tired of it and liked left leaning economics better so they were planning to vote for change both in congress and the white house :)

Hillary's Problem Ahead....The Weather !
I just checked the forecast for the next 2 weeks in Indiana and N. Carolina and noticed that Hillary may have one major problem ahead....The Weather ! For the next 2 weeks you will notice that all of Hill and Bill's rallys will be in outdoor venues....parks...back yards...parking lots...etc.. The reason? She's so broke she can't afford to rent halls anymore for her appearances. So they are forced to holding their rallys in 'free' outdoor venues. Problem is....it's supposed to rain alot in both Indiana and N. Carolina over the next couple weeks. So what will they do ? They can't afford to go indoors....they can't cancel...And now that she has been known not to pay her bills the halls want their money up front.That's where the Hill supporters come in. If you are a true, strong supporter of Hillary....she needs you all to do an Indian...'Hope it DON'T' raindance ! Seriously....she needs your help.
