Rove Empties Out the Obama Smear Catalog
This has gotta be sign of desperation, right? Rove's newest frame on Obama:
Even if you never met him, you know this guy. He's the guy at the country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone who passes by.
Yup. Because when I think of a half-black guy who grew up with a single parent in Kansas, Hawaii, and Indonesia, I definitely think of a 1980s teen movie prepster/villain. The picture of classic American privilege, that Obama.

Despite the fact that this characterization of Obama is so ridiculous, its laughable, is anyone in the least bit surprised? After bitter gate, I would have bet any amount of money that closer to the General, the republicans were going to use it for all its worth. That's their biggest advantage. This is their ammo.
Even though I read the full context of Obama's remarks, which make it clear that he wasn't trying to talk down about anyone, I thought it was a huge mistake. It just didn't sound good, and as he acknowledged, he left himself open to be misconstrued.
So this will be another rerun of 2000 and 2004. They will try to make McCain seem like the guy that you can relate to and represents everything good about this country, and they will try to make Obama seem like the guy that looks down on you and hates this country.
Who knows what the end result will be this time around...it worked two times, maybe the third time is the charm.
Seems the spin machine is broken and cant gain any traction.

Amazing. There are STILL country clubs that Obama, let alone Bob Johnson or Vernon Jordan, can't get into.
This is going to be an interesting campaign season. The rate and scope of communication has escalated to the point that everyone is talking over each other making it hard for such comments to gain traction. It seems that young voters have an underground of information that is hard to determine its starting point. If you are channeling your information through MSNBC or FOX, its just not reaching these young voters. In the end, this may be a huge advantage to Obama.
Obama doesn't have any former slave genes in him. His father was an immigrant. Obama does not know what it is like to have slave ancestry. He is not down for the struggle and authentic. Don't be fooled by his jive talk. He is a counterfeit and not the real thing like Pastor Manning.

And you can tell. Maybe that is why he got on with his life instead of trying to lay blame on what wend down 200 years ago.

Right...and Bush is the guy taking kegstands, snorting coke, puking on himself, and relying on Karl Rove to drive him home.
Obama has to effectively show Americans his real background and how poor he was when he was growing up. How unassuming his life was with a poor single parent. Only way to shut these idiots up.
