America is known for doing undemocratic things in the name of democracy. Recent example: Afghanistan.

Watch Mark Fiore's cartoon below, as he muses: Democracy isn't always pretty. But shouldn't it at least be kind of attractive?

      I'm wondering if the president is becoming or maybe always has beeen no more than just a figurehead (similar to that which is on the bow of ancient ships, just a prop to look and in this case sound good) chuckle.....
      But really, it is after-all the CONGRESS that makes the decisions - not the president; we must NEVER forget that.
