Soldier Shootout at Fort Hood Leaves 12 Dead
At least one US soldier (two other suspects are in custody) went on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood, Texas today, killing 12 and injuring 31. The slain shooter has been identified as Major Malik Nadal Hasan. What that name means, if anything, we don't know yet, so let's not immediately jump to 9/11-type conclusions.
Longer and more frequent deployments, for a shrinking and less-qualified fighting force, means our increasingly stressed soldiers are under more pressure than ever. The Army has already seen PTSD spread among its ranks, its suicide rate skyrocket, and domestic violence (and this is a different type of domestic violence) has also plagued Army bases under the strain of dual wars.
President Obama called the Fort Hood shootings a "horrific outburst of violence." He added: "It is difficult enough to lose" soldiers overseas, but "horrifying that they should lose their lives at an Army base in the U.S."

I am in the military none of those people there were armed. Soldiers do not carry a wepon unless there in training and definatly they do not carry ammo unless they are police. So there were all unarmed had one of them been armed may be this would have ended sooner.

It's not about being a muslim or not, but a psychopat-murder who got his mind all screwed emanating fear all of his life then baam, today - we saw a gruesome reality of what he really is capable of.. The only question remains, Now that he is alive? Shall we expect the unexpected? I wouldn't be surprise if a week from now a tabloid will report "Ford shooter bites the dust"

He was also a hater of women - would not allow himself to be photographed with females. (This must cause a great deal of angst among leftists whose instinct is to defend "poor, misunderstood Muslims" and they also believe that only conservatives discriminate against women). How ironic then that the civilian first responder who shot this POS was a female. His fellow Muslims must be awfully embarassed that a mere female could take down a brave jihadist.
What Americans don't realize is that Islam is at war with us - these type incidents will continue until we declare war on Islam.
