      A moment of silence or a fervent prayer gathering are both appropriate ways to ponder the madness of murder at Ft. Hood.

      Memes do propagate so there is a big study under way to try to figure out the psychological dynamics the USUHS admits it does not now understand.

      At the bottom of it is an ideological war that has never gone hot, a war to try to understand why a mind, among other things, would malfunction into criminal insanity.
