More on the Los Angeles 'Thwarted Plot'
For those a bit sick of hearing the president dredge up details about some "terrorist plot" or other every time he needs to change the subject, Zachary Abuza has an interesting post over at the Counterterrorism Blog wondering whether the thwarted Los Angeles plot being touted today might not be all it's cracked up to be. And it does sound a bit dodgy. Then again, whether the Bush administration stopped a hijacking plot in 2002 or not is irrelevant to the question of whether it's allowed to break the law when engaging in domestic surveillance.

Many thanks ameripundit you are great.I like the way you think. You must be a patriotic american to put yourself out there where the Bushies can cause the NSA to put you on their watchlist.I'm sure that I am on Bushs enemy list/NSA watchlist many times over.
As you may know there is ample evidence to indicate that America was led into war against the Japanese, the Koreans, the Vietnamese and now the Iraqi/Afghanis by false, misleading and politically slimy strategies. Bush's strategy of fear mongering by claiming HE has saved America via illegal spying on Quakers and all other protestors and dissenters strikes me as another slimy political strategy so he can force America and Congress to allow him to 'keep on keeping on' his enemies list/NSA watchlist.
Now I'm on Bush's enemy list one more time. Bush and Nixon are just famous for their enemies lists as well as their debilitating and dysfunctional paranoia. Someone, possibly Pres. Ford, once said that anyone who has that many enemies should not be president. I totally agree with that sentiment, whoever said it. I know it was somebody famous,I just wish it were me.

Dear [redacted],
I wanted to make a comment on the post titled, "[redacted]".
Unfortunately, I have just assigned a "Top Secret" classification to my comments and therefore can't send them to you (see also: discuss them, have already spoken on the subject, and/or don't know who or what they are since I am familiar with many comments).
As a matter of fact, I have had the opportunity to make thousands of comments and hardly remember any of the ones I made. Further, I will not release pictures of me and my comments as they could be used against me for partisan purposes.
Sorry to bother you. I just wanted to warn you that comments are out there... "lurking"... hating your way of accepting comments and other stuff.
I know for a fact that I have many other comments "lurking" out there.
I am doing everything I can, as I swore to do when I entered this site, to protect the Mojoland from my comments. That is my #1 duty (that, and tax cuts for my friends... O.K., all right, I admit, ... for me and my family!)
God bless America.
By the way, the building he was referring to is not called the "Liberty" (building or tower). It was the old LA. "Library" that burned down in the 80's. It's changed names so many times that people still simply refer to it as a "library" which, under Administration policy, is a species that, like the Quakers and peace activists, is not very "liberated".
