The charges are related to professional soccer players based in Scotland (footballers), so your unfortunately assuming that European fans ('over there') are likely to act like some crazed, rampaging rapist brutes is absurd and leaning out of the window. That this blog posting is based on misunderstanding one word, that would seem to be the perfect moment to just get on a plane and meet those fans here in Germany. I suggest retracting the blog or backing it up without generalizing.
