I can see the right wing fundamentalist conspiracy working hard at this, just another Karl Rove, Bush right wing insanity and the most blatant christian fascist 'pimping of innocent children'for the Repub party and Georgie boy the christ, by his own claims of course. Same as the white supremacists, no different. This is all just more evidence of the sick thinking of the radical right wing religious theocratic fundamentalists. One can see the same thing being done by the Catholics by watching EWTN the Catholic cable channel.
I may be Catholic but not that kind of catholic which is sick and wrong.

Wow. There are too many people in this world with way too much time on their hands. Why don't they all join VISTA or the Peace Corps (Do these organizations even exist any more?) and do something with their hands and minds to improve people's lives? I have definitley noticed that the most religiously out-there people (many of them Mormon) I have met are the ones having the most children...I have met several people who have 6 children, and one who was lord and master of his household with a subservient wife, and 10 children, with no intention to stop. Does anyone believe in moderation? Is the passage 'Go forth and multiply' an edict to commit planetary suicide? Are all these children meant to populate 'God's Army'(whose God...the Mormons' version...the Baptists...the Catholics...the Scientologists?) and battle the heritics and infidels (Muslims? Buddhists? Methodists?. Can't we go back to the days when Sesame Street taught tolerance and respect for others? It is a simple mathematical fact that if each woman alive had anaverage of 2.1 children, the Earth's population would plateau and remain at the same level as long as we held to that number of children per woman. Given that some people, by choice or by nature, have one or no children during their lives, a prportionate number of other women could have three or four, perhaps occasionally five children, as long as the median was 2.1 kids per woman. But then we couldn't grow mobs of religious fanatics to go to war with each other over limited resources, self-fullfilling old stories written in old books. Maybe after we are gone the Apes will do better (Planet of the Apes, anyone?).
