Bush to Congress: "I'm Still Making the Decisions Around Here"
This morning, President Bush told reporters, regarding Congress' opposition to escalation, that he really doesn't care.
"Most people recognize that failure would be a distaster for the United States. And, that I'm the decision-maker. I had to come up with a way forward that precluded distaster."
For what it's worth, I think I personally preferred "the Decider."

Just lie and keep on lying.
Republicans have a winning political tactic that’s worked like magic for decades: Just lie and keep on lying.
But now the magic is wearing a little thin. So many of their lies have been exposed as lies that millions of Americans are beginning to doubt their credibility. The problem with lying about everything and getting caught at it, people begin to suspect that you might be lying all the time. When that happens, the lies you are telling now to cover up earlier lies begins to erode your political support.
Shaken but undaunted, Republicans will continue lying because it’s become an irresistible habit which they hope will keep them in office and out of prison.

WAKE UP AMERICA! Your NEW GOVERNMENT doesn't give a crap if you like what they are doing, they are going to do what they want to do and if you don't like it, you can go to hell(detenion camp?).

Err, have Americans not changed their views of GW? Approval ratings in the crapper don't indicate as much?
