Biden Should Seek Treatment for His (Obvious!) Alcoholism
Mark Foley had e-sex with underage pages for years. Blame alcohol!
Mel Gibson went on a crazy misogynistic and anti-Semitic tirade when pulled over for drunk driving. Seek alcohol treatment, and some counseling from Jews!
Isaiah Washington of "Grey's Anatomy" called his co-star T.R. Knight a "faggot." Seek therapy!
San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom banged his campaign manager's wife. Blame alcohol!
It's obvious, Joe. You have an alcohol problem. Seek therapy!

It's the OTHER action Biden won't take responsibility for: presiding over the soul-murder of Professor Anita Hill. Maybe he needs rehab for that.
Everyone is an alcoholic according to 12 step evangelism, just like everyine is a sinner according to conventional evangelism. So all the candidates are alcoholics unless they are in 12 step groups in which case they are recovering alcoholics.
Twelve step nuttiness aside. Diane? Don't you have Joe Biden confused with Senator Orrin Hatch. As recall it was Hatch who crucified Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas advise and consent hearings by claiming she got the coke can story from "The Exorcist". The drink in the exorcist was Irish whiskey, but Hatch claimed Hill got her story from that book.
It was simple enough for Hatch's stsff to search for "Pubic hair beverage" and find a reference in the Library of Congress that Hill could have gotten the idea from. Since it was pre Yahoo and Google most people in the US were unaware of the power of the search engines available to congressional staffers at the time.

The Hatch moment was but a small part of a lengthy psychological gang-rape overseen by Joe Biden. He could have stopped it any time. Yes, I meant Joe Biden.

Ms. Anita Hill was a traitor to her race in stabbing a brother in the back so he would not become a Supreme Court justice. Where is that religious fundamentalist now?

Joe is a good guy, he just talks too much. Maybe that's what happens when you've been a public figure talking to people for as long as he has. No, I suppose it's just him--Teddy Kennedy seems not to step in it very often.

Hey, I remember Arlen Specter crucifying Anita Hill. Clarence Thomas doesn't deserve to be on the SCOTUS, if it was up to me I would have put Anita Hill on it. But then I'm not a republican so I have no political power, Arlen Specter the Bush repub stooge has it all. The SCOTUS, in my opinion now has four pieces of repub scum on it, Thomas, Scalia, Roberts and Alito. The SCOTUS is like the MSM gone corrupt. It is now irrelevant and worthless. The SCOTUS should be restructured, there should be four Dems on it and four Repubs, chosen by the respective parties and voted on by the people via popular vote. That way it is balanced and cannot be stacked like the Bushie rethugs are doing. Wihen there is equal numbers from each party no one party can render it useless/biased. Then they can fight out each decision among themselves.

Hi,
I recently directed a short film about a family struggling with alcoholism and making amends called “Red Love Redemption.” The film is in a Steven Spielberg competition for filmmakers called "On the Lot" where 16 directors will compete in a reality series on FOX in 2007. My wish is that you check out my film, review it, and share your comments on my filmmaker blog in my profile. Here is the link:

Thank you!

"There were two kinds of slaves, the house Negro and the field Negro. The house Negroes - they lived in the house with master, they dressed pretty good, they ate good because they ate his food.
They loved the master more than the master loved himself...If the master's house caught on fire, the house Negro would fight harder to put the blaze out than the master would.
If the master got sick, the house Negro would say, "What's the matter, boss, we sick?" We sick! He identified himself with his master, more than his master identified with himself.
If you came to the house Negro and said, "Let's run away, let's escape, let's separate," the house Negro would look at you and say, 'Man, you crazy.'", quote from a speech by Malcome "X"
Clarence Thomas is not a brother. He is so much like the charector in Ralph Ellison's "The Invisible Man" it is scary. Thomas has portrayed himself as a black stereotype in order to succeed in the white-dominated society. He even made speeches to white audiences denegrating the brothers like Ellison's charector did in the novel.
The only thing Thomas avoided was the "battle royal". In the novel the inviible man charector had to box and knock out other blacks before a white audience to get his scholarship in what was called a "battle royal".
Like the Invisble Man, Thomas serves a white woman and disrespects black women. His purpose is to serve whites. Thomas has left his baptist roots and first become Episcopal to please his white wife and then catholic to please Antonin Scalia.
Anita Hill graduated from Law School Cum Laude. She is a better lawyer and would make a better judge than Thomas. What she has not done is ingratiate herself with whitee.
Anita Hill was hounded from her job at the University of Oklahoma despite having tenure. I guess she was to uppity for the Okies. She went to my home town, Boston Massachusetts, and now teaches at Brandeis University. She has also been honored by Smith College for her contribution to women's rights.

Clifton, that was a great analogy! It's not what you know, it's who you ????. This is politics at it's worst. I give Anita Hill a lot of credit for standing up, she would have been a lot better than the five that sold our country down the drain back in 2000! We gave up Quality a long time ago, can we ever hope to bring it back?

The drinking is not the problem. I know. It is what is in the soul that comes out when one drinks. Don't blame it on the bourbon(or beer or wine for those unfortunate folks). As Mark Twain said, I don't trust a man that doesn't drink. Because alcohol just loosens the tongue. Joe is just one of those elitist northeasterner's that doesn't like a bourbon drinking man from Tennessee.

Ranselar, I agree about the five. Sanda Day O'Connor broke my heart when she voted against the right of Florida voters to have their voted counted. I live in Palm Beach County so I was one of the voters disenfranchised by that supreme court decision. I single ou Sandra Day O'Connor because she was the fifth vote in so many 5 to 4 court decisions that preserved our rights in the 1990s.
I expected Scalia, Thomas Renquist and Kennedy would vote politically, but hoped O'Connor would vote on principle.
We need an Anita Hill, a Larry Tribe or a Lani Guinier on the court, but in todays ideologically fanatic America I do not see how we can get someone non political like that nominated.

Clifton, I'm so glad you addressed Tyrone Jackson's comment, because it screamed out for a well-reasoned reaction. Clarence Thomas is hardly a representative of the people he is linked to only by ethnicity. I can't believe that anyone would think that Hill had a negative impact on Black America by standing up and speaking out against sexism.

Evidently, you have all been lucky enough to never live in the same home as, or love, an alcoholic. Personally, I don't trust a man (or woman) who drinks too much, but I never, ever trust a man (or woman) who doesn't read. Before you comment further on this topic, I suggest you read up on it.
