A Soldier's Take on Cutting the Funding
A DailyKos diarist who served in Iraq and Afghanistan weighs in on whether or not cutting funding for the war in Iraq will put the troops in danger. Very much worth a read.

ummm. Not so interesting reading. Sorry- sounds like an angry rant with the writing skills of a fifth grader. The rest of the content on this site... Boring! I don't care about a C-Span program. This crap is really boring- blogs are pretty gay as in lame. Even this MJ blog is inundated with very boring, slanted, non-news stories. Yet I'm entertained by some of the stories and comments posted. The sum of this story, cut funding blah blah blah...

There are some very good points in this blog. I have served in the military, and agree with this writer completely, as do many of our current soldiers. People who know anything about the Iraq war realize that the talking points trotted out to "defend the troops" are actually defending our waste of money and lives. If this country would like to grow up and act a little more mature, we would be out of there immediately. Oh, and the troops wouldn't suffer for it at all.
