Court Upholds Alabama Sex Toy Ban
A federal appeals court just upheld Alabama's sex toy ban, defending the state's interest in "preserving and promoting public morality," i.e. invading your privacy so you don't do it yourself. That's bad news for Sherri Williams, the adult store (NSFW) owner who's the lead plantiff on the case (and whom we wrote about last year.) This could be the end of the road for the case—the Supreme Court has already refused to touch it.

Pfiser is behind this. Banning sex toys will boost sales of Viagra. There is no Viagra ban in Bama and no wonder, it is not sex they are against; it is cheap electric sex. Five dollars worth of batteries provides more satisfaction in a safer way than five thousand dollars worth of Viagra.
What next? A ban on Onan generators sponsored by the solar power people?

What's next? That's easy :) What's next is a ban on all phallic shaped vegetables that could be used as sex toys. Really... anything that can be inserted anywhere should be banned. Let's ban penises too... while we're at it :P

What will happen now is an underground railroad for dildos, or more accurately, dildo smugglers. "We caught this guy five miles from the state line, smug sombitch, with a trunk full of Holmes Deluxes and King Kongs - not in my state."

I am so p!ssed about this law. I do at home parties and this appears to ban ALL sell of sex toys. It is freaking ridiculous that they can tell us what we can and cannot carry in our cars and homes and sell to other adults who WANT to buy them. Next they will be telling us how many times a day we are allowed to pee and what time lights out is for the state. This state is an embaressment to me. I hope to get the h#ll out of it soon. I guess there are some people with vibrator envy who don't want us selling them.

oh, great
another prohibition income opportunity for the gangs, the emerging back alley dildo and nipple-clamp trade
drive-by shootings over vibrator turf
yeah, that'll clean up society
politicians and judges like these ought to have a copy of their anti-dildo law shoved right up their asses, and with any luck it's a five-hundred-pager

Don't let Alabama encourage sexual repression!!!
Please read the petition regarding the ban of selling sex toys!
http://www.gopetition.com/online/14546.html
Please pass this bulletin to all of your friends and encourage everyone you know to sign it! This really upsets me, especially when I think about all the other things in the world going on that really need our governments attenion like the WAR, health care, and violence and crime just to name a few things.
Who cares what CONSENTING ADULTS do in their own bedroom? Everyone should be allowed to enjoy their bodies in whatever shape or form they choose as long as they aren't harming anyone else!
Please sign and pass on! Thank you!

i've learned during my internet years that online petitions are pretty worthless as far as having any impact on the receiving end
if you want to make an impact on the decisions politicians are making you've got to contact them directly
email is ok but letters and phone calls get more attention

Gee, ya think the people in Bama might breath a sigh of relief known that that laws gets to stand. I mean, just how many marriages have been saved by the wife finding out that hubbies isn't really "SIX INCHES?!"
And just think how many wives continue to be sexually frustrated, and of course, the battery industry will take a downturn.
Course, that also makes me think of opening some of these store just across the Bama border. Have to have a big parking lot tough.
Wonder if it would have been made into a law if Wal-mart carred these things?
I'll be up all night thinking about that one...
