Persecution my ass. Cuba is under embargo for a good reason. Moore is not above the law.

End of story.

Moore is a big contributor to green house gases. Look how fat that man is. He is the poster child of the fat American who is responsible for the misallocation of resources. Doesn't he know that methane gas contributes to global warming? He is an example of the obesity epidemic that will destroy our health care system.

Hey Richard,

"Cuba is under embargo for a good reason."

Just what might that 'good reason' be?

This is great free publicity for Moore. The fine he will pay will more than be offset by increased ticket sales.

The embargo on Cuba has been ridiculous since the Cold War ended. Furthermore, it allows Castro to blame his government's failures on US policy. Let's end this nonsense already, shall we?

Glad you could grab onto the very heart of the post, Lucy Lu, with that deeply insightful observation. After all, the whole point to the controversy is that Moore is fat. Here's a question Lucy Lu: Once we round up all the fatties and herd them onto an island of their own, should we shoot them or just leave them to feed off of each other?

The fat Americans(you know who you are) need to go to school(re education camps) and learn the great harm that they are doing to the environment and the destruction of our health care system. Chinese people have it right. Be vegetarian and skinny.

Richard, remember that Dr. King quote about obeying only just laws?

Yeah...

The following was not meant to represent a formal, clinical diagnosis of Michael Moore, so please, Michael, don't try to sue me:

I just thought this might be a good place to let folks know about this song about Michael Moore, that was released, and nationally aired prior to Dick Morris's DVD of the same title:

Seems like it's all about Moore, not his point, which I'm sure Moore's detractors prefer to avoid. He's pointing out that impoverished and embargoed Cuba has a medical system that offers better care to 911 cleanup workers than they could get in the US. Can someone refute his point, or is saying he's fat the best you can do?

Moore is a poor choice of a poster child(e.g. picture of fat man) for an article about health care since he is overweight. Costs of treating the affects of obesity are contributing to a collapse of our health care system. From Obesity comes diabetes and heart disease, not to mention cancer and muscle skeletal problems. If you are going to have an article, I suggest that you don't show his picture, it only invites comments, like when fat Sally Struthers was collecting money for the starving children.

My doctor once told me that 1/2 of all the worlds disease is related to under nutrition and the other half?...

OVER NUTRITION!

Which 1/2 do you think most Americans fall? I think it's funny and ironic that Michael Moores new film "Sicko" does not show a picture of.. Michael Moore, over-eating at the dinner table. Before he points his big fat finger at the pharmaceutical or insurance companies, he should point at his own bloated self and ask. Where is the responsibility for our own health care?

You right John boy from Aggie town. That is what I have been saying. You Americans are Fat and Fart too much(contributes to green house gases). Go vegetarian and be thin and pretty like me.
