King for a Day

Bush to name Cheney president while he undergoes a medical procedure Saturday. Atrios' thoughts: pray. Everybody else, guard your copy of the Constitution.

I found this story amusing in that Cheney is to be "acting president" for a day. A first. Up until now, Bush has been the "acting president." I'm tempted to go on and on about who is looking up whose butt, but I won't.

I don't know why the docs are bothering to look at Dubya's colon for possible polyps. Puppeteer Cheney has his hand up there so often that he should be able to tell if any polyps are present.

Does anyone remember Casper Weinberger - "I'm in Charge" foolishness when Reagan was shot and the "Tree" (Bush the 1st) was out of the country. Small men with large egos.
Get a real job for a change

Check the imagery on the same blog topic over at Dvorak. Gotta love that scope ...
