Barak Obama:

"Is Baghdad Safer Than Chicago?"

Seriously.

In the LAST WEEK ALONE, following Iraq's success in the Asia Cup, 5 people have died and dozens have been injured by CELEBRATORY GUNFIRE(!!) alone, while approx 200 others were murdered in Baghdad.

Of course, time.com is asking is it safer for an AMERICAN in Baghdad than Chicago.

The homicide rate in Chicago is considered high (per capita) at around 450/year. But if you're cruising around in an armored car with someone manning the .50 cal, or even walking on foot, patrolling with your platoon, automatic rifles at the ready I'M SURE YOU'LL BE JUST FINE in the windy city.

It may be a slow news day, but time.com is pretty out of line with that one.
This YouTube video is pretty bad, but ethnocentric apples and oranges comparisons really suck. 'Nuff said.
