Obama's accent doesn't sound forced like Hillary's. She sounds like she's poking fun at Southerners whereas Obama's sounds more natural. But it's a natural instinct for anyone when in a different state or area to put on an accent like people in that area. Also you can abrely hear Obama's "Southern accent".

After the "Hillary's Prayer" article in the current MoJo issue, why are we still talking about Hillary as a Democrat. Shouldn't we be looking at her as the best of the hyper-religiose Republicans?

Actually, the religiosity of all of our politicians bothers me a bit Edward, especially due to the fact that it is required in order to get elected. This includes any and all of the flavors of the Zoroastrian-Judeo-Christian-Islamic religion (deliberately singular).

However, what I am saying about Hillary has to do with her willingness to legislate from her religiosity. It is her belief that god put her there in order to legislate specifically in the way god wants. This scares the screaming heebie jeebies out of me!!

It is this attitude that it is OK to have a government based on one's religious beliefs that I normally associate with the Republicans rather than the Democrats.

This is why I specified that my problem was not that she is a believer, but that she is particularly hyper-religiose.

Obama is half white. He was raised by a white mother and white grandparents. He has a midwestern accent, yet when he around largely black audiences, he tries to sound like a "brother".
