The Onion Gets It Right Again
They got Iraq right. Now another bold prediction:
Poll: Bullshit Is Most Important Issue For 2008 Voters
Stay tuned to MoJo Blog and MotherJones.com for lots of non-bullshit news and analysis about subjects (Blackwater, Iraq, race, health care, actual policy controversies) that aren't nearly as important as John Edward's haircut or Hillary Clinton's gender.

Don't you know that the number one objective (tactic) of the conservative movement (and the corporate media) is to get people NOT to vote? If it's all bull****, why bother? They want the middle class and the poor to believe that there's no difference. But any day in Congress (if anyone bothered to watch C-Span ) you'd see how the buzz doesn't match what is said there. So far, the tactic seems to be working. Who created this mess? Let's be clear. The democrats DO NOT control congress because they don't have the plurality required to override vetos. This "do nothing" charge against the democrats is the biggest bull**** of all. It serves only the GOP if you believe it..

Karl – Can not disagree more. The Neo-cons WANT people to vote, but only the right people (no pun intended). Bush won a second term because of gay marriage. If it wasn;t for that, Kerry would have won.
I lived in Indiana at the time and every church was evangelizing about gay marriage, the assault on families etc… Power Point sermons, the whole bit. They drove their parishioners to the polls and that is how they won.
They know this too. Without Iraq or some other fear to hang over our heads. They got nothin’. Look for another meaningless topic to come up. I think that flag burning will be next. The stem cell thing is too complex for people to get their heads around. Either way, the only way the Neo-cons can win is if they get then from the pew to the booth. The only way that they can do that is to create a meaningless topic and get the pastors a speacifin’!
