Sorry, but don't we have anything better to talk about than Ronald Reagen's stools?

that's weird. i mean, fine, ronald reagan has been canonized by the right, but isn't this a been revisionary? he had a divorce. his relationship with his kids wasn't ideal. gay marriage wasn't an issue in the 1980's (nobody stood up for gays then), and he obviously wasn't able to change policy on abortion, so why is he the big "family issues" guy? why more than bush? only because bush is a failure, i suppose. if a guy can defeat communism, he can defeat homosexuality, i suppose. strange...

"Step 3. Attach stool leg labeled: 'Strong Family'"
I don't think the only U.S. President to have ever been divorced quite completes this "stool." I sure wouldn't put my full weight on it...

Wouldn't a 3-legged stool be rather unstable?

I think we're missing the point. Why are our kids shooting up schools, why are our prisons filling up? Why are there more ppl in poverty now than ever before and more millionares than ever before. The answer is that the family atmosphere is week. That was Ronald Reagan's viewpoint. Children who are taught the value of personal responsibility and individualism succeed so much more in society now because they are the true minority. When it takes a Village to raise a child, the village will suffer from it's failure. None of that has to do abortion, divorce, or gay rights.

A proper tripod is the most stable base you can use.
That's why it's historically been the support of choice for cameras, which need to remain very still.
The humorous point this intended to convey is that Rudy seems to be missing one of the three necessary legs, and a two legged stool is only slightly more stable than a one-legged one.
