Stephen Colbert's Fictional Campaign Beating Real Republicans in South Carolina

colbert.jpg It's astounding that a TV personality pretending to be an preening, egomaniacal, over-the-top, hyper-bombastic Republican is now more popular amongst young voters than actual Republicans.

With the Republican Party in disarray and out of money, one wonders what Democrats will have to do to screw this presidential election up.

What can the Dems do to screw up this time? I'm afraid to find out, although it's likely they will find some way.

If they keep letting bush and republicans tell them what, where, and when...as what is happening now...we, dems, will not be so inspired to vote...no backbone...just had a democratic congressman tell the truth about bush and the war...and what happened a couple of days later...an apology...signifing he was wrong when he was so right.

I used to talk up the dems everyday...now I am getting embarresed to just bring them up in conversation.

Actually voting for a republican today in the city election...a strong dem tired of spineless dems...so you see, it is already happening...dems screwing up.

I'd vote for him!
He's a character being played by a comedian which explains his characters' insane behaviour. What's the excuse of of all the other "real" candidates?

What would the dems have to do to mess this up? Nominate Hillary Clinton. She's the only democrat they could beat.
