Dems Get Dirty in Nevada

The Obama campaign has nabbed a robocall left on the voicemail of a Nevada supporter that refers to Obama as "Barack Hussein Obama" four times. No word on who is funding the ad.

On the other side, Bill Clinton, top Clinton ally Terry McAuliffe, and other Clinton surrogates are alleging that union officials are intimidating union members into caucusing for Obama. They are claiming that Clinton-friendly union members are being told to stay away from the caucuses. (This, by the way, will have the effect of delegitimizing the caucus if Obama wins. That is likely the point of the Clinton camp's agitating.)

All of this builds on the nasty radio ad Obama supporters are airing in Spanish.

It seems that Obama is not practising a new form of politics which he has promised. President Clinton has said that he has seen voter intimidation and suppression by Obama supporters in Nevada. Further, Obama did no object to the union supporting him in Nevada running misleading ads in Spanish to influence votes of the Spanish community to Obama. The above developments shows that Obama is not behaving like a new type of politician who wants to bring about transformational changes. Moreover, he has gone to the Republican Party to single out for praise President Reagan as a transformational leader, ignoring outstanding Democratic leaders such as FDR and JFK. He has done this to pander to the votes of Republicans and independents in Nevada. Further, he has not denied a charge that he is "hip-deep in financial ties" to Chicago-based Exelon, a nuclear plant operator that supports the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste site. Moreover, his vote of "present," rather than "Yes" or "No," on some abortion bills in the Illinois Senate is disturbing. In addition, Obama's proposal for reforming the Social Security system has drawn sharp criticism from critics saying that it may lead to "a trillion dollar tax increase on America's hardworking families." This is based on his statements that he would consider addressing Social Security's deficit by raising the $97,000 limit on salaries subject to payroll tax. At times, he has also suggested a "doughnut hole" of untaxed salary above the current limit and taxing everything above $200,000. Obama's reform proposal is confusing. He should level with the people the implications of his sweeping reform proposal.

I think the Clinton campagin needs to be taken to task. They have lowered this race to its least common denominator and are changing the rules of the game.
Now the Clinton Camp is supressing voters.

Check this link for an appauling first hand account from a polling volunteer apparently there are hundreds more like it:

No matter who you vote for, if you are like me, you are enraged that the Clinton's think they can distort the democratic process for their own gain. I'd sonner sit out the general then to vote for a control freak whose willing to supress voters from other camps to get tot he top again.

E-mail Howard Dean at the DNC and let him know you are demanding an investigation. Tell him you won't throw the switch for Hillary in November if she wins the nomination through cheap dirty tricks and devisive manipulation of our democratic process.

Uh..., stating right out front that I think the Clintons are among the most willing-to-play-dirty politicians in the game today..., I have to ask:
Since when is including a guy's middle name "dirty"?
Or, could it be that the complaint Really Is that they forgot to include the 'Jr.' at the end???
