Dickerson's usual swipe at men at the end of this article is rather odd:

"Since it opens the door for all 'assault' victims (i.e. men) to sue long after the fact, I'm sure it will be popular."

Is this to suggest that men are hypocrites because they want to be afforded the same legal protections as women? Why does 'assault' warrant quotation marks here? Do assaults against men or assaults that are not sexual in nature not count?

You should really try to polish your vitriol into some sort of coherent, logical post. What you just posted makes no sense whatsoever.

Or just get over your misandry; the world isn't just awful towards women.

Speaking of slavery. Dr. Raphael discusses the central role of the Jews in the New World commerce and the African slave trade (pp. 23-25Jews and Judaism in the United States Jews and Judaism in the United States

The following passages are from Rabbi Marc Lee Raphael's book Jews and Judaism in the United States , pp. 14, 23-25.
"Jews also took an active part in the Dutch colonial slave trade; indeed, the bylaws of the Recife and Mauricia congregations (1648) included an imposta (Jewish tax) of five soldos for each Negro slave a Brazilian Jew purchased from the West Indies Company. Slave auctions were postponed if they fell on a Jewish holiday. In Curacao in the seventeenth century, as well as in the British colonies of Barbados and Jamaica in the eighteenth century, Jewish merchants played a major role in the slave trade. In fact, in all the American colonies, whether French (Martinique), British, or Dutch, Jewish merchants frequently dominated.”

Speaking of unpolished vitriol, to whom was your post addressed? I can't tell if you're trying to call me out on misandry (by the way, that would be one male accusing another of misandry!) or attacking Debra Dickerson.

I wouldn't call Dickerson's post misandry, by the way, I just think that she is attempting to portray men in a negative light for supporting a bill that applies equally to male and female assault victims.

If you disagree, YOU can provide some coherent vitriol to the contrary.
