Clintons Take Note: This is How Its Done
When an Obama adviser, retired Gen. McPeak, dropped the M (for 'misogyny') bomb on Hillary and said:
Obama "doesn't go on television and have crying fits; he isn't discovering his voice at the age of 60" -- references to Clinton's much-publicized show of emotion during the New Hampshire primary campaign and her speech after winning the contest in which she declared that she had "found my voice."
Obama did this.
Class, style, grace, and political savvy. I'm digging Obama more and more everyday.
Maybe the famed Clinton War Room should have focused on recovering from its own mistakes and not just on responding to attacks.
Comments
OMG!
In an email, the Obama campaign said McPeak's words "crossed the line" and that Obama "strongly disagrees with these comments and apologizes on behalf of the campaign."
*****
That is how it is suppose to be done. I think the Clinton war room is in the "fight the GOP" mode and end up more knee-jerk than responsive.
Thanks
from Gallup:
Forty-four percent of Democratic voters nationwide support Clinton, while 41% support Obama, within the poll's three-point margin of error.
******
I think people are noticing and the trend is something to celebrate.

Say what you will, but the General is right. Hillary’s bit was as phony as her marriage. Those who buy it have been scammed.
Seriously, “I found my voice”? Maybe if she comes behind again, she will find her ethics.

Any supporter of Senator Clinton's could care less what you say. She has taken hit after hit and guess what? She's still strong, she's still ahead and she's going to win!

"she's going to win!"
That has yet to be realized. Should she win or if Obama wins - America wins.
The primaries are an expression of preference and there is no reason to be against the one you don't prefer. That just sounds negative - promote your preference without resorting to tearing down the potential next president.
The process of holding our government to account must be constant. We will have to hold the next presidents feet to the fire no matter who is elected.
For goodness sake - let's make certain the GOP rule of insanity is over.

I'm sorry. If Billary wins. We will lose the White House and let the Republicans back into power. The Billary's are old news. Let's put someone new in without baggage. It is time for a Change!

We’ve had at least the last 8 years of inspirational rhetoric – whishin’ and dreamin’ and hopin’ and prayin. – like the old 60’s song and look what we now have. What are the plans and strategy to make real change - to keep war, disaster, and crisis from being profitable? (like funding innovative production, research, education, arts and culture, like politics instead of war so that ALL of us prosper peacefully? (Clinton))– Isn’t it time for action? Many people buy lotto tickets but only a few win. Not too many people leave their jobs – if they have one – or tear down their savings or put what’s most precious to them at stake with such poor odds. Why would you put America up for grabs with someone so inexperienced (Obama), who can talk about change but has no real plans or ideas to make that change happen; who can inspire you but can’t give you a job that will put food on your table – Would you hire a professional, who has the power to change your life, with 3 yrs experience (Obama) over 35 years experience (Clinton)? Do you want someone handling your life/world who has a plan a strategy has the benefit of experiencing what does NOT work and a well thought out strategy for what will work (Clinton)? Or would you prefer someone who is just finding out that the wheel doesn’t have to be reinvented (Obama)? Do you want pretty talk or action that leads to REAL change? When I was a young woman and first married, I could live off love and it was wonderful – if we missed a meal or two – so what, we had each other. But when my first child came, living off love didn’t work – I wanted my child fed, clothed and a decent roof over her head. That meant work instead of dreams. I didn’t learn how to pay bills in kindergarten and maybe something else feeds the lilies of the field but I still had to go to work to bring in the food, then cook it, then do the dishes that I bought with the income I worked for. No inspiration in the world would continuously pay my rent, and bills, put food on my table, get my children’s clothes and books and clean up my house. I was the one who watched a stranger come back from Viet Nam in the guise of my husband because the geniuses couldn’t fathom anything else to lift a flagging economy but war. Do you suppose after 935 lies our friend (Obama)might have voted for war too? My friends, the ALL forbid that our President should ever be in the position to have to stand alone and make world changing decisions – no spouse – no advisors – no clever fawning people to put the proper spin on things – My bet and vote goes to the woman who’s already accomplished that and has learned to work with others as a result. Time to look and see who is really providing change – who really has a workable plan not only for this country but perhaps for the world – Hillary Clinton, that’s who.

OOPs..the numbers are a changing!!!!!Could it be that Americans are seeing the real truth.....
'A new poll shows that Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is considered the candidate most likely to "do anything — including something unethical — to win," and most likely to embarrass the United States.
According to a national Fox News Poll, 44 percent put Clinton in that category, compared to 11 percent for Mitt Romney, 9 percent for Sen. John McCain and 8 percent for Sen. Barack Obama. Twenty-eight percent of voters were unsure
WASHINGTON, Feb 3 (Reuters) - Democrats Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are running neck-and-neck in California, New Jersey and Missouri two days before the sprawling "Super Tuesday" presidential showdown, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Sunday.
Obama has a slight lead in California and is virtually tied with Clinton in New Jersey and Missouri heading into the biggest day of voting ever in a U.S. presidential nominating campaign, with contests in 24 states.
Obama, an Illinois senator who would be the first black U.S. president, also has a comfortable 20-point lead in Georgia fueled by a more than 3-to-1 advantage over Clinton among black voters.

Someone On The Right Anne Coulter Feels Good About
Coulter on Fox (Jan 31): likes Clinton because "she's more conservative than McCain." Do Caroline & Uncle Ted--Have All The "Stones?"
It's easy to see why the 1% who Love! U.S. politics just as it is, would ditto the nasty, autocratic, combative, ad hominem "code" rhetoric of Bill Clinton. But, we're not all , beer-drinking, macho bullies in this country. You'd have thought (or at least I did) our so-called "leaders" would have the "stones," if not the self-respect to object. But, looks like the Kennedys, alone, may have felt obliged to tell the truth (about Ted’s former friends, the Clintons).
The Combative Clintons dominate every former democratic institution and whip up militancy & conflict everywhere they go, probably incurably. The aggressive zealotry they model is a disservice to their base as well, in that it turns so much of the public off. They manipulated long honored primary tradition by “dis-ing” the rules unilaterally, and won't hesitate a minute, to force these ad hoc changes down our throat no matter if they take the party down with them. Their ugly smear campaigns discredited/eliminated several strong candidates from the race selecting Obama --who they thought would be easier to beat/bully/compromise and smear--
It's so much easier to complain about our democratic congress rather than object to the strident Hillary, matriarch of that congress, who dictates the rules none of her poor subordinates dare dispute, or might favor independently, that is, without her approval. It's Hillary's congress which almost invariably, gives George Bush the "heads up" no matter the usual faux "protests." And while Hillary dominates congress, it’s Bill, Champion of the One-Percent, the New World Order (takeover by the elites), still leading the choir for his hasty, ill conceived global initiatives (NAFTA, WTO, et al). The 1% who rule the World Economic Forum at Davos Switzerland are all about indecent, inordinate, entitlements incommensurate by any measure, moral OR!! Economic.
It's pathetic that among those who profess to stand for and love democracy-- so few have the Guts To Take These Dictators On, and instead, stand by quietly and watch them violate the spectrum of progressive values our once advanced society prided itself on. And my posts focus on Hill & Bill so much! because they did the heavy lifting for George Bush, pushed our country closer than we've ever been to a dictatorship & tore apart our party from within.
I oughta mention that a (VERY!!) small handful of the media HAVE tried to be heard with respect to Clinton on ISSUES & POLICIES (and not the good old "Boys Will Be Boys") misadventures with Monica. And…well, I’m pleased to report a few of those (not all) still have their jobs. And I have my fingers crossed America finds itself worthy of being viewed again, as the Progressive Leader of the Free World.
Some may think it’s not major but there’s a super-substantive difference between Clinton & Obama—with the Clintons’ as criteria, we can T-R-U-S-T Obama with the farm.

He's a class act, even to his rivals during the debates.. from DailyKos:
"I had just been asked a question -- I don't remember which one -- and Obama was sitting right next to me. Then the moderator went across the room, I think to Chris Dodd, so I thought I was home free for a while. I wasn't going to listen to the next question. I was about to say something to Obama when the moderator turned to me and said, 'So, Gov. Richardson, what do you think of that?' But I wasn't paying any attention! I was about to say, 'Could you repeat the question? I wasn't listening.' But I wasn't about to say I wasn't listening. I looked at Obama. I was just horrified. And Obama whispered, 'Katrina. Katrina.' The question was on Katrina! So I said, 'On Katrina, my policy . . .' Obama could have just thrown me under the bus. So I said, 'Obama, that was good of you to do that.'"
