It's All Over: Obama Takes the Sweep
The networks have called Louisiana for Obama. He's won all three states tonight, as expected: Louisiana, Nebraska, and Washington. Time to make this a real Saturday night, folks. Prost!
Update: Whoops, I lied. I'm still digging around. Check out the turnout comparisons for the Democrats and the Republicans. With 59 percent of the vote returned in both races, 175,000 votes are in for the Democrats and just 74,000 are in for the Republicans. Yee-haw.

Well, I guess you've made my decision whether to resubscribe to Mother Bias pretty easy now. You have now become indistinguishable from all the other marketing firms, otherwise known as news outlets. Great, I'm so happy that your guy Obama is heading for victory. The new product always seems better and prettier than the old, but in the end it performs the same as all the rest. When did you people stop being realists ? Yes we can, if the others are willing. And that is a very tall order indeed.

Mr.Wolforth, I'm a cyclist and I have found that new parts do make a difference when older ones are worn out and useless.

Oh COME ON. :)
Why don't you just come out and SAY you work for Hillary/McCain/whomever?
The Hillary crowd keeps whining about how the media is so soft on Obama. . it is ridiculous. Clinton has successfully kept the media heeled enough so that they are not reporting the CRUSHING defeats as they REALLY are.. aka.. CRUSHING. I mean.. 2:1 in Washington? How in the hell is that not HUGE news?
No she is playing them like a fiddle.. releasing headlines the VERY DAY after elections to try and steal fire from Obama. She has really nauseated me in this campaign, I'll tell you.
The Clintons are the ones forcing the media to downplay Obama historic, crushing strides in order to try and gain breathing room to make political ploys and somehow pull this out at the 11th hour. The press should be LAUGHING at her and her husband right about now. Nope.. they are very skillful.

Your smiley face does not diminish your crass assumption that I couldn't possibly BELIEVE that another candidate - Clinton, in fact - could do a better job than Obama, unless I work for her. Right, I mean, how could anyone support Clinton over Obama? You're either with us, or against us. Sound familiar?

I'm a mountain biker myself Jorduuhn, and I've found I can't get too far with flat tires (in this case many members of congress), regardless of having a new shifter.

Mr. Wolforth, I am a Single-Speeder and chose to be so for simplicity, peace of mind, and a personal challenge. The reward is that im faster and more comfortable now than i ever was on a bike with a *ahem* shifter. Personally i would love to live in a country that would elect a "everyday-urban-commuter" to head office as opposed to just a little more "Lance-worshiping." Fame, legacy and popularity (Shimano derailleurs) are not logical qualities to base decisions on if you're looking for a difference. Fooling with a chain in the middle of the woods is boring no matter how Zen anyone is. Lets simplify, John, it makes all the difference in the world. JW:
I am getting somewhat tired of the constant complaining about media bias in all cases of criticism of Sen. Clinton. Is Mother Jones, too, misogynist? The argument begins to wear thing when even highly progressive-oriented mags on the left side of the spectrum are accused of unthinking Hillary Hatred.
Do you remember the recent bon mot "the truth has a liberal bias"? May be a similar phenomenon. At what point is reporting what's going on bias? At what point do you look at the candidate and think "maybe its her and not a mysterious and conspiriatorial 'them' "? I think we've had enough of paranoids in the White House.
