Maybe Joe should point out McCain's fascist tendencies - something like this would do: I was thinking about McCain's position on unions; and it seemed eerily familiar to what we were taught in school about the fascists' perpetual weakening of unions, rather than fighting them head on, because unions were viewed as competing with allegiance to the state. I was born and raised in Connecticut. The fact that Lieberman is pro war is because Ct. is a war industry state. You have Sikorsky for helicopters, Pratt and Whitney for jet engines, Colt Firearms and Winchester. I believe that land mines or small explosives are made there, also. Ct. went bankrupt at the end of the Viet Nam war and Governor Ella Grasso saved the State. Then After the Persian Gulf war the state went bankrupt again. Gov. Wicker then imposed a personal State Income Tax for the first time. He failed to rescind it as he promised. So, when the war in Iraq winds down, tiny Ct. will likely go bankrupt again. I am anti-war,
but I know this is why Lieberman has done what he has; he is trying to save jobs for the state. He will do anything; including becoming an independent or calling a Black presidential candidate a socialist. But Obama is my Senator now, as I live in Illinois. I am proud to say we
