Compromise in Michigan Draws Closer
The Obama campaign is now praising a compromise plan created by Michigan's Democratic leaders that would seat the Michigan delegation with 69 delegates for Clinton and 59 delegates for Obama. The Clinton team objects, seeking a full recognition of the January vote (Clinton took 55 percent of the vote in Michigan, "uncommitted" took 40 percent), but if Obama gets the delegates he needs to become the nominee through the superdelegates and the pledged delegates of the other 48 states, he can seat the delegations however he pleases.
What say you, Florida?
Comments
Speaking as a Michigan participant in the ILLEGAL primary, it's a good compromise, but I fully expect that we will (and should) get seated with a diluted vote. Same should go for Florida when they work out a deal.
So, sorry Team HRC: the magic number will NEVER be 2209.
As a Floridian I say as long as we get seated and HRC doesn't steal the nomination I may actually give money to the DNC again, though I'm not sure if I'll find it in my heart to forgive and give $ this year or not.

As a Michigan voter, I can't wait for our stupid primary to be out of the news.
