NARAL's endorsement of Barack Obama sounds less than enthused:

"Today, we are proud to put our organization’s grassroots and political support behind the pro-choice candidate whom we believe will secure the Democratic nomination and advance to the general election. That candidate is Sen. Obama." — Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America

With NARAL this afternoon and Edwards possibly coming this evening... oh wait, I forgot. The race is already over.

Ending is tacky. Rules are rules : 2025. Super delegates could have wrapped this up. Unlike you, they evidently think respecting people's votes is important to the fall election.

Hey Kathy I got no respect as an Edwards voter in Fl last time around when our primary was too late (or this time as a last minuet switcher to Obama for that matter) so why should Montana or Puerto Rico? Why is it that both time I get a chance to vote in a presidential primary nobody cares, and yet all of a sudden Clinton supporters some how give a damn? This like much else from Clinton is merely self serving hypocrisy, Clinton has repeatedly said that if Democrats had the same winner take all system as Republicans then she'd be the nominee by now, as well as all this let the voters be heard jazz (you can have one or the other not both Billary so enough trashy double talk already). We need a national primary system if we actually want the voters to be heard, and it needs to start with small states where small budget candidates have a chance, last just long enough to allow a decent amount of fund raising, and end in time to make the big states count.

First of all, I agree with you on the un-democratic importance of fund-raising. When Russert interviewed Clinton on his Sunday program months ago, she spoke about the much-needed reform for public financing of presidential candidates.

As an Edwards supporter, you had the privilege of seeing your candidate run in 2004. Unfortunately, he and Kerry lost.

When I listened to a couple of the early Democratic debates, I preferred Biden. He also was a victim of lack of funding.

I disagree. If you look at the entire statement - and related statements on the Huffington Post, I think you can tell that NARAL is very enthusiastic about endorsing Obama. They temper this enthusiasm with an appropriate amount of respect for Clinton. That's just my opinion.
