Despite the fact that this characterization of Obama is so ridiculous, its laughable, is anyone in the least bit surprised? After bitter gate, I would have bet any amount of money that closer to the General, the republicans were going to use it for all its worth. That's their biggest advantage. This is their ammo.
Even though I read the full context of Obama's remarks, which make it clear that he wasn't trying to talk down about anyone, I thought it was a huge mistake. It just didn't sound good, and as he acknowledged, he left himself open to be misconstrued.

So this will be another rerun of 2000 and 2004. They will try to make McCain seem like the guy that you can relate to and represents everything good about this country, and they will try to make Obama seem like the guy that looks down on you and hates this country.

Who knows what the end result will be this time around...it worked two times, maybe the third time is the charm.

This is going to be an interesting campaign season. The rate and scope of communication has escalated to the point that everyone is talking over each other making it hard for such comments to gain traction. It seems that young voters have an underground of information that is hard to determine its starting point. If you are channeling your information through MSNBC or FOX, its just not reaching these young voters. In the end, this may be a huge advantage to Obama.

Obama doesn't have any former slave genes in him. His father was an immigrant. Obama does not know what it is like to have slave ancestry. He is not down for the struggle and authentic. Don't be fooled by his jive talk. He is a counterfeit and not the real thing like Pastor Manning.
